What retainers don't cover.
Retainers are for ongoing care of work we've already shipped. New builds and big changes are quoted as one-off projects so you always know what you're paying for.
- Full rebuilds, new feature builds or platform migrations — those are quoted as one-off projects
- Third-party software licences (Figma, Mailchimp etc.) — billed to your account directly
- Domain registration fees beyond the first one
- Stripe / payment processor fees on revenue you collect
- Content writing beyond the included blog posts (Pro+) — extra posts £80 each
The small print, plainly stated.
- What if my AI usage goes over the included allowance?
- We tell you before you hit the cap. Anything over is passed through at API cost + 25% and added to your next invoice. No surprise bills — you'd see the alert first.
- What happens to unused dev/design hours?
- On Pro and Growth, unused hours roll over for one month, up to double the included amount (Pro: max 8h banked, Growth: max 16h). Beyond that they expire. The point is steady improvement, not stockpiling a redesign.
- Can I switch tiers as I grow?
- Yes — upgrade or downgrade from the next billing cycle. Email and we'll handle the Stripe side. No fees, no downtime.
- Do you do longer contracts for a discount?
- Annual upfront billing gets 15% off, baked into the toggle above. We can also do 24-month commitments at 20% off — email us if you want one.
- Will you still take on one-off projects?
- Yes. New features, rebuilds and migrations are quoted as one-off projects. Retainers cover ongoing care of work we've already shipped.
- What if I cancel — do I lose access to anything?
- No. Your code, domain, Supabase project and Stripe account are all yours throughout. Cancelling just means we stop the monthly work; nothing is taken from you.
- Who handles the payment?
- Stripe processes the card on Bozmaps Ltd's behalf (UK Ltd). PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. Itemised receipts emailed instantly.
