Short version
This site doesn't set any cookies. That's why you don't see a cookie banner.
Why
We chose Plausible Analytics instead of Google Analytics specifically because it does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not require visitor consent under UK GDPR or the ePrivacy Regulations.
What we use instead of cookies
- Plausible Analytics — measures page views, referrers, country and device type at an aggregate, anonymous level. No personal data, no cookies, no fingerprinting. Data is stored in the EU.
- Server logs — Vercel keeps short-term server logs (IP addresses, request times) for the purposes of security, abuse prevention and performance debugging. Retained for up to 24 hours.
What about embedded content?
We don't embed YouTube videos, Twitter timelines, Facebook widgets, or any other third-party content that would set tracking cookies on this site. If we ever do, we'll update this page first and add a consent banner.
What about the client sites we build?
Client sites we deliver vary — some are fully cookieless (most of our work), some integrate with analytics or advertising platforms that require consent. Where consent is required, we build proper cookie consent banners with full granularity (accept, reject, customise) — not the dark patterns common on the web.
